About Us
Our Mission
We teach people to use movement and somatic education to promote wellness.
By bringing awareness to the intricate relationship between mind and body, we guide participants toward integrating embodied action in their daily lives.
Our Vision
Wellness for the world.

Movement therapies such as dance, yoga, and improvisation help improve individual wellbeing through the introduction of gentle exercise and conscious embodiment of emotion. By taking time to focus on the physical manifestations of these emotions, we can unlock a new potential to self-regulate and heal.
In group settings we begin to unwind feelings of isolation and gain trust in humankind through both partner work and group collaboration. This contributes to a safe, introspective environment to learn long-term wellness practices that will transform our relationships with ourselves and others.
Our Story
Emovia began as Scarlett's capstone project on dance therapy during her junior year at Pacific Collegiate School. As the culmination of her project, Scarlett taught a series of somatic education workshops in the PCS Dance Studies class. Since then, Emovia has expanded into a brilliant team of individuals who are eager to share the power of movement with others.
